MKI MLU is expected in 2032 as per HAL. Doubt it can be expedited due to the need for testing. I'm hoping they increase the upgrade rate though, at least 16 instead of 12 every year.
The actual problem is their Vshorads they are developing. This is called the sungur
This has more range of about 8km than our vshorad of 6 km. This is superior the the verba and stinger. The only equivalent is the polish piorun. This will be the best vshorad in its class.

Pretty good but still biased in favour of China and Pak as expected. Claiming 6 kills is a bit silly. Still miles better than "reputed" sources from the west though.
Against Pak: 30-50 J-35s against 200+ MKI UPG.s backed by CCAs and other airborne assets? Nah, mate!

I just look at on paper specifications. I want the f-15EX because it can reach mach 2.5 and we need something that does the role of a High altitude interceptor and bomb truck. The su-30 is not an interceptor it's an air superiority fighter. F-15 isn't exactly designed to be an air superiority fighter since its design is based on matching the mig 25. The f-15EX has similar payload capacity as the su-34 and can carry far more advanced munitions than the Flankers. You have JASSM, agm158, jsow, slam-er and variety of American stand off munitions it can fire. Plus it has open missions architecture so we can easily integrate indian and Israeli munitions on top of that 20000 hours of airframe life. Once the era of fifth gen starts we need aircrafts that can carry a huge amount of standoff munitions and missiles that cannot be carried in the bay of a stealth aircraft, f-15EX fits perfectly plus we get our hands on manufacturing an American engine since the ge-414 deal is already happening there won't be a issue if we get our hands on the f110 ge129/132. But it's an expensive deal and Americans are just not worth the time. Especially how Trump has handled the whole indo-pak issue. And the underlying reason is that he has been bought out by the Qataris. So trusting America and american hardware is now a no go because he is a Qatari stooge. And the Qataris are the ones who are the masterminds behind the turkish and pakistani alliance. If anything we really need to start investing in Iran and Afghanistan. FIM-92 Stinger has same range as sungur. 160Meters to 8 KM. And Stinger has a vintage of 80s.
I am sure if India asks nicely, Unkil will give entire technology of Stinger to India.
This is not right. Starstreak and FIM 92A Stinger have same range.

Such subs will have endurance of 14-15 days inside water.
We need to get that damned PAFC AIP working and installed in first Kalavari which comes for refit in September. All of this stupid testing - not testing BS we have been doing need to speed up.

yes, and they do have capable ASW assets too, P-3s are no slouch and are getting south african are modifying Embraer 1000 jets similar to jet based P-8 we have with european avionics and radar from Leonardo iirc. In PeeDF they mention utilizing a SOSUS kinda system along their coast they have with chinese help. Only thing they are not looking good is Naval Helis, with IN having Romeos now.
