Barely 6 months ago when the Taliban swept into Kabul , various twitter handles from Pakistan were proclaiming victory & the handful of Afghan ones were full of rage at Paxtani perfidy , western pussilanimity & the fate of Afghanistan.
Those same Paxtani handles were gloating at India pointing out at a loss of base in Afghanistan , death to the TTP & spread of unrest in Kashmir.
Whereas what we're seeing is the opposite of it. The TTP is more active , Balochi sarmachars seem to be carrying on more strikes & in fact it's a surprise to see how anti Shia groups in Paxtan have been inactive all along .
How things change & that too so rapidly ! It also brings to the fore a few fundamental truths - the average Paxtani is a youthia conditioned by generations of inbreeding, has no capacity for critical thinking , can easily be manipulated by narratives & almost always arrives at the wrong conclusion & thus makes wrong choices .
The kind of outrage Dimran's (someone who made a bad situation worse & was only in power because Fauji Foundation backed him & now that he's been unceremoniously ousted is hell bent on labelling all those who disagree with him as sold out & traitors , inspiring active resurrection & who won't mind a civil war like situation ) rallies attract is proof of it .
