Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

Fascinating how 2 decades down the line ADE hasn't been able to deliver a non-stealth subsonic cruise missile. Last test was in 2024, and these are developmental trials. User trials will drag on for more time, and will take another decade for this to reach substantial numbers in service if at all an order is placed.

No test last year though there were multiple hints of trial from UVLM but nothing materialized.

New ADITI challenges.

---> This one will likely be a further development of Jet Powered bomb by JSR Dynamics which itself was a winner of previous challenge.

---> This one can also be derived from the same solution as above. Interesting they want to do this with OFAB-120 bombs though instead of FCB warhead SAAW. ARDE has indigenised them last decade.

On a sidenote, India being the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and probably their engines too is gonna be beneficial for mass-producing these in very large numbers.

The good thing is that now Indian companies have opened their outlets across the world including US, Europe, Africa, Australia etc. In Africa, Indian bikes have outs Chinese companies and have them closed down. Bike enthusiasts have a very high opinion on Indian bikes and many have rated them better than European bikes in same category. They have titled them as Japanese quality at Chinese price. Currently, BMW, KAWASAKI, KTM, Harly Davidson and some other companies are in collaboration with Indian companies for Joint venture and Making of less than 500 to 600 cc bikes by Indian company to sell them under the brand name of US, Japanese or European companies.

May be they are tested but not declared. Just a possibility.
