Nyan is already operationally proven on land, with more than 1,000 units produced. Now it has successfully demonstrated its ability to add real value in a maritime environment too.

While the MoD is not releasing specific details of Nyan’s capabilities, it is said to be broadly comparable to the British Army’s Dart 250, with an estimated range of around 250 km, a payload of up to 20 kg, and a top speed of approximately 440 km/h.

5. LMM: production ramp-up underway in Belfast, United Kingdom

LMM
(Lightweight Multi-role Missile) production in Belfast increased fourfold between 2022 and 2025, reflecting a significant ramp-up in manufacturing capacity and output, with further plans to support a seven-fold increase in missile production within 4 years.

Malloy Aeronautics designs and supplies all-electric uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to both civil and military customers. Their range of uncrewed, heavy lift quadcopters are capable of lifting payloads from 68kg to 300kg over short to medium range missions. Britain will today announce the transfer of intellectual property rights to allow Ukraine to manufacture the Stone Cloak drone EW system, thousands of the device have already been supplied.

Stone Cloak is the size of a tablet computer and generates a short range electronic cloak around the drone that both drastically hinders detection by anti-drone radar as well as blocking drone jamming signals. Stone Cloak will be directly built in to the upcoming Project Brakestop low cost cruise missile.

Britain’s Sovereign Hypersonic Strike Effort Enters New Phase

The UK is progressing an ambitious national endeavor to join the growing number of countries capable of developing hypersonic weapons.

A £1 billion ($1.34 billion) initiative launched three years ago has now attracted more than 120 companies—and others waiting in the wings—as well as generated more than 25 research and development contracts and successfully tested propulsion systems.
Engineers are designing a hypersonic cruise missile flight-test vehicle, the Scalable Hypersonic Advanced Ramjet Demonstration (SHARD), that the country hopes to fly in 2030.
The recently published Defense Investment Plan allocates £770 million over four years to support the development of a new generation of 2,000-km-range (1,200-mi.) deep-strike missiles under the Trinity House Agreement with Germany.

A British engineering company that spent decades building Formula 1 race cars has announced it will start delivering a weapon that flies faster than 460 mph, carries a 300-kilogram (661-pound) payload, and never comes back from its mission.

MGI Engineering, a defense firm based in Witney, Oxfordshire, announced that its TigerShark autonomous strike drone is coming soon, describing the system as a high-speed, one-way effector built for deep-strike missions against defended or distant targets. A one-way effector is the defense industry’s term for a weapon that flies to its target, strikes it, and is never recovered or reused, placing TigerShark in a category that functions much like a cruise missile while costing a fraction of what traditional missiles like Storm Shadow or Tomahawk run per unit.

British drones used in Ukrainian attacks deep inside Russia for first time, says report

British drones used in Ukrainian attacks deep inside Russia for first time - report
The Wiltshire-built Nyan drone, developed by BAE Systems subsidiary Callen-Lenz and tested by the Royal Navy, was used to strike Belgorod near the Russian border, the report said.
First tested by BAE Systems this summer, the drone has a wingspan of 2.9 metres and can fly more than 150 miles, the defence company said on its website.
Hope they have good security.

The second drone used by the Ukrainian military and made in British factories has a range of more than 600 miles. It is launched using a catapult system allowing drones to be fired in quick succession, according to The Times, which did not name the company for security reasons.
