US - Israel - Iran War

Here we go. Far more convincing than a strike from a 800lb or 1,000lb warhead given damage.

The damage:

No f'king way a 1,000lb warhead hit that. Why are the walls either side of the hole still present for start?

Judge for yourself.

They don't care, they will eat grass,
Though google says that they don't have to, Food aid is being provided by their neighbours,

There were strict supported sanctions under the old nuke agreement by most nations, Now with Several countries ignoring sanctions, including Russia and China, they are better off now,

US diesel
  • Current Average: $5.85 per gallon
  • Previous Averages: Up from about $5.61 a week ago and $5.37 a month ago.
  • Year-Ago Comparison: Significantly higher than the $3.71 average recorded at this time last year.

They won't be able to afford it. Grazing contracts cost money.

Any everything else? :ROFLMAO:

All well within manageable limits. It always cost more than that in Europe.

US will just keep preventing them from exerting too much control while their economy declines and they fall apart.

Fall apart eh ? Just like that ? I suppose you think the Iranians have tomato juice in their veins much like the denizens of little britain !

If they go down you can bet your non existent balls they're going to the take the ME down along with them.

It's entirely on the US to make them capitulate with the least possible harm to the region especially their O&NG production facilities.

How will they achieve the impossible is a trillion dollar question ?!

Who's they ? The Iranian people will sooner rather than later rise up against the regime. As it is they've suffered only hardships under this regime.
Though google says that they don't have to, Food aid is being provided by their neighbours,
I suppose you think the neighbors would be providing them foodstuff for eternity that too free of cost.

Any evidence Russia is exporting foodstuff to Iran pops ? China's to use the same Straits of Hormuz to import & export anything to Iran.

You really are a piece of work aren't you ? And here I thought Paddy was one of his kind.

I agree with earlier @BMD comment, the only option is ground invasion.

And at the end, divide IRAN on basis of ethnicity for long term peace even if invasion doesn't go well.

And no, iranians wont fight or behave like afghans, afghans are basically medival people who happened to exist in 21st century, even during communist/royality rule, Afghanistan was very undeveloped.

But iranians have experienced modernity, even today, iran is quite good compared to many countries including India.

There are many secular/anti-islamic iranians who wanted to just live as iranians and if they were given a govt and US protection, they can easily develope.(Artesh is still not fully loyal to mullah govt)

Iran has oil, so US wont have to fund the govt, just protection of oil facilities is enough.

But the question is, will US invade Iran, i should rather ask, will US citizens are ready for another long war ??

But other side is giving Iran the key of hormuz, which shatters the US lead global order based on free trade and free navigation.

Charging for commercial vessels in international water will effectively end western global order, and all regional countries will rush to protect their trading route, and then US can no longer maintain it's undisputed hegemony, pushing whole world in power struggle and chaos.

For 40 years Iran built a ring of fire around Israel. The jewel in the crown was Hezbollah. Hezbollah’s own jewel was the complex it dug into the Ali Taher range—the closest base of that caliber to the “little Satan.”

Yesterday, it fell to the IDF.

Twenty years in the making, with Iranian help and enormous expense, the base contained command-and-control rooms, weapons and supply depots and field clinics, all buried 30 to 50 meters into solid rock. Just ten kilometers from the Israeli border, with a clear view of the Litani and the Israeli Hula Valley, it was the place from which Hezbollah intended to coordinate its own October 7 in the Galilee.

Israeli forces first reached the ridge on the thirty-first of May. By the twelfth of June, the division had taken Kfar Tibnit and the main body of the ridge. Then the ceasefire, a week later, leaving 40 Hezbollah fighters trapped beneath Israel’s feet. An assault would have inflicted casualties Israel was unwilling to absorb and broken a ceasefire it was unwilling to break.

So they began a siege. They shot down every attempt at relief, infiltrators and supply drones alike, and escalated steadily from there—pushing their own drones into the shafts, running loudspeakers into the ground around the clock. After a summer of siege, the men below broke—some retreating, others unable—leaving the IDF in full control of the ridge.

In mid-August, Iran warned Washington that a full Israeli assault on Ali Taher would draw a large-scale response. More than a dozen IRGC personnel were on the ridge, three officials told Reuters, including at least two senior officers. Set aside the obvious question of what a foreign army’s officers were doing on sovereign soil—after all, it isn’t sovereign, it’s Lebanon. The fortress has now fallen, and the question of a response falls to Iran.

The trouble is that the Iran that made the threat is not the same Iran that has to keep it. In the intervening month, the United States blinded Tehran in the strait, restored much of the commercial shipping it had disrupted, and drew the economic noose tighter. A month of siege has sapped much of the bravado from the Islamic Republic.

They have three options: a large response, a small one, or silence. A large response inevitably resumes the war. The prospect has its attractions for a regime on the edge: wartime discipline is the easiest form of crowd control, and if Iran is even weaker than we believe, a heroic death in resistance is well within Jihadist sensibilities. A small response risks arriving at the same place by accident—Israel is eager to answer disproportionately to any provocation and weaken the regime further.

They may still risk it. But Tehran has had chances to significantly escalate in recent weeks and declined every one, settling instead for the uneasy equilibrium of neither war nor peace.

It is a tightrope, and the regime may well make it to the other side. But while desperately trying to balance it won’t be able to stop Israel plucking the jewels from its crown, one fortress at a time.

Further evidence that the noose around the Mullah regime is tightening. That all those who believe Trump to be stupid need to rethink their stance .

He's a crook no two opinions about it more shameless than others who've occupied that post but the US has wargamed this plenty of times since the past 2 decades if not more .

That's how they've managed to limit the fallout of this war so far ...
