The biggest was letting them call the 2019-22 pandemic Virus 'Coronavirus' instead of Wuhan Virus.
I was listening to Sushant Sareen and couple of others a year or so ago. They stated:

"pointed it out to the MEA, why are you so keen on pushing 'Aman ki Aasha'. Why not publish and push the narrative of how Pakistan has repeatedly gone back on its word. Why don't you highlight the deep ties between PA and these groups that constantly send t*rror*sts to J&K?

The reply was: Arree, we don't do that. We must remain calm and steady. It would be ill mannered of us to use the media that way to create pressure. "

There are certain elements within India that are complacent/borderline negligent when it comes to aiding India's talking points. The babus were not keen so....there you have it.

Recruitment through UPSC is the real problem of this country, parachuting candidants who have done nothing but craming and perfecting peacock-show in the position of power.
You have group-B people who have done the groundwork for years, spend decades reaching that glass ceiling above which some guy sits just because who he knew who was grandfather of Akbar and cultural policies of Jaggashah.

I do not know of a single media outlet in Pakistan or P.RC that can write an article that states how much of an impact synthetic videos of IA (misinfo campaigns) have in India and why they need to be curtailed or discouraged. I will leave it at that.

China has demonstrated an army-grade aerosol smoke-screening system designed to protect military hardware from optically guided drones. It is worth noting that this protective measure could significantly facilitate offensive operations. The system generates an aerial cloud that conceals military equipment, whether stationed at bases or on the move. This multispectral cloud effectively hinders drone operators from targeting the equipment and prevents satellites from conducting reconnaissance.

More than a million people have been evacuated from their homes in eastern China including Shanghai, as Typhoon Dolphin made landfall on Sunday evening.

It packed maximum wind speeds of 150km/h (94mph) when it first slammed into Yuhuan in the Zhejiang province at 17:30 (09:30 GMT) before making a second landfall in the city of Wenzhou about an hour later, meteorological authorities said.

The typhoon halted transportation across the region – 1,400 flights were cancelled in Shanghai alone.

Chinese authorities had earlier issued their highest-level red alert, but by Monday morning they downgraded it to a tropical storm.

China criticized increasingly dire warnings about AI's risks after leading US technology leaders backed calls to slow the development of the most advanced models.

"The development of artificial intelligence bears on the common well-being of all humanity," Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a regular briefing in Beijing on Monday. Countries should promote "open, inclusive, universally beneficial and ethical" AI development, he said.

"Fearmongering, confrontation, and vicious competition will only disrupt the process of global AI governance and serve the interests of no one," Guo added.

The comments came after Anthropic Chief Executive Officer Dario Amodei called for companies to moderate the pace at which they improve AI capabilities, warning that safeguards are failing to keep up. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman backed Amodei's proposal to give independent evaluators employee-like access, while Elon Musk said the Anthropic chief was right.

Xi Jinping has called for extensive cooperation with Washington to avoid the “Thucydides trap” that could put the US and China on a military collision course amid rising tensions over artificial intelligence, trade and Taiwan.

At the start of his summit meeting with Donald Trump in the White House, the Chinese president laid out terms for a mutual understanding that he said could steer the two competing superpowers away from future military conflict and on to a road of mutual gain.

Rather than confrontation, conditions for “achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and making America great again go hand in hand” and should be the goal, Xi said, citing Trump’s political catchphrase.

“We should strengthen communication. China and the United States are different in national conditions, but through candid, in-depth and continued dialogue, our two countries can understand each other better, seek common ground while shelving differences, and build up mutual trust,” said Xi, with Trump looking on.

“We should coexist in peace. China and the United States, as two major countries, stand to gain from cooperation and will both lose in confrontation. Our two militaries should maintain regular dialog and improve mechanisms for crisis communication and prevention.”

With such conditions in place, Xi said, “the Thucydides trap can be overcome”, refering to the phenomenon, defined by the Greek historian, of tensions that arise when an emerging power challenges the dominance of an established power.

Xi invoked the phrase in his meeting with Trump in Beijing in May, asking the US president how he planned to avoid it.

His proposals for lessening tensions – which also included the invitation of 100,000 young Americans to visit China on student exchanges – come amid a period of intense competition between the two powers over artificial intelligence and trade, with each side imposing tariffs on the other.

China has imposed new travel restrictions it says are aimed at people who could endanger national security. But DW East Asia Correspondent Rik Glauert and China law expert Thomas Kellogg tell Pablo Foley Elias that the new rules are actually targeting technology talent. They say Beijing wants to prevent a brain drain, as it competes with the West for dominance in AI and other tech sectors.

SINGAPORE, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Chinese refiners have suspended oil product exports for October, four people briefed on the matter said, as Beijing looks to preserve domestic stocks, a move that will further crimp war-constrained fuel markets.

Beijing restricted fuel exports in March after the outbreak of the Iran war ‌disrupted Middle Eastern crude supplies. The world's top importer relaxed the curbs in July and is managing diesel, gasoline and jet fuel shipments on a monthly basis.
