Acc to an Afghan account it was seen helmand afg , but its right next to the border so it aint that unusual they saw a missile .
It's SOP to have NOTAM before any such test, so i guess there is more possibility of meteor.
It's normal for a very high altitude missile to be seen from distant places.
If no NOTAM, then its not missile test, it's against international law to have any such test without NOTAM.
Only a sanctioned country like NK ir Iran do such things.
And also, any nuclear country has even bigger responsibility. even Russia inform west whenever it use IRBM in Ukraine, even after so much sanctions.
Will wait before saying anything with 100% confidence, similar reports of some Hypersonic testing was made earlier as well which turned out to be some natural phenomenon. Additionally the altitude and smoke does not seem to be supporting any concrete trajectory for a test.
