Russian officers not at the front will be missing December's pay cheque. @Picdelamirand-oil, @randomradio

The document takes the form of an explanatory note accompanying a draft decree from the Russian Ministry of Defence. The key paragraph essentially provides as follows:
The postponement of the deadline for the payment of December’s pay to military personnel — with the exception of personnel in the joint task force — until 9 January of the following year.

Three points follow from this:
- The pay remains due, but the draft would allow it to be paid after December, up to 9 January. It does not prove that all personnel concerned will actually be paid by that date.
- The text refers to military personnel, with no apparent restriction to officers alone. The exception concerns the ‘force group’, which is administratively more precise than ‘those on the front line’.
- This is a draft bill, and this image does not confirm its final adoption.
