Houthis don't wear military attire, so any civilian may not be a civilian. The Saudi coalition never had US air power supporting them last time.
In WWII bombing wasn't accurate enough to avoid civilian casualties in cities and most adults were involved in the war in some way, hence not really civilians.
Despite optimistic talk from top diplomats in both the US and Saudi Arabia, regional experts don't see any movement in the near term, due both to Riyadh's demands and the Gaza conflict.
