Even the Rus is not looking to field their heavy mortar anymore, been a while since we heard of Tyulpan deployment as they gradually found out the practical part, better to have small and mobile group for this role. I think this is a more practical approach here, just need some EW equipment on those vehicles or have another group cover the same.

What's with the IA choosing older gen imported gear? Mounted 120mm options like IAI Cardom or Finnish Patria Nemo (dual barrel) have been available on the global market for ages. These provide shoot and scoot firepower with precision rounds to boot.
