When the players they had were young players but not really the leaders for world cup, Kane is young, and is not even the captain of Tottenham
Jordan Henderson is young and is captain of Liverpool but yet Soutgate prefers Kane to be captain,
In the semis Kane was invisible, England team was young like the German team that won 2014 FIFA but then the german team of 2014 was very experienced having played together for a very long time unlike this english team

Sorry no Battle of Waterloo, but English can Water laaoo

Well it turned out good for croatia, too bad for england, they were on defence instead of attack in 2nd half while croatia was on full attack and taking more shots at goalpost than England. the substitution of England should have been sent in early instead of the last 15 minutes.

Isn't that description apt for the Irish ? Btw - is the flag going to be flown at half mast for a week , given England's defeat ? I did some analysis

This is maximum you can reach with Efforts and luck, what England lacked is EXPERIENCE and it SHOWED. Harry Kane at 24 is a good striker, but does he have a good head on his shoulder as a captain?

The English team was young, energetic, and with self-belief. They did play good football, They did score against weaker teams. When they put up technically the remaining 11/23 players against Belgians, what they did was rest the players which is good, but also they also forego the chance to really test themselves and get their top players the top experience against the really top team. Most people saw Belgium as the top team and one of the favourites.

One of the weakest side of Croatian team was its goalkeeper, not a top-notch goalkeeper, the Freekick from Trippier was nothing special, nor was it in Corner so to speak, it was just over the wall., It was a nice free kick, but good goalkeeper at this level should be able to save it,

The Croatians were all over the place with their attack, but their defence was still holding because they had experience. VIDA played like a leader. Modric and Rakitic controlled but they were not getting enough people in final third and they were just putting a hopeful ball in the box. and then it somehow paid off at the 63rd minute. But after that, the English team was all panic, and you could see the defence crumbling and being all out of ideas. You can see they panicked and they didn't have leaders calming them and keeping the discipline.
You could see the Croatian team attacking more frequently and better organised. England did not seem that capable to score, but they had a lot of chances, When Mandzukic scored, the English defence just switched off, How can they switch off when the ball is in the box?

This English team is not good to win the world cup, but Very surely they will be strong contenders for Euro 2020 as they have the experience of what can go wrong ..

Let me say Croatia might win in final There are 2 days more for a lot of things to happen

France to win 3 - 0
France has a better Defence, Strong and experienced. Specially Varane and Umtiti, Also they have a Strong midfield who can dominate. Pogba, Kante, Matuidi etc, they can keep the midfield strong and running. This midfield is young and sufficiently experienced at the highest level.
Their attack is good, Mbappe and Greizmann, Well Giroud is totally discounted, he cannot be relied upon
For first 30 minutes or so France will be jittery, if Croatia manage to put 2 past France then it would be a close match as after 30 minutes France will be parked in Croatian half,
So the best Scenario for Croatia is to score much within the first 30 minutes and put France on back foot. As after 30 minutes there would be waves after waves of French attack

1-0 or 2-0 to the french it is... For the Croats, you must factor in the three consecutive matches that went into extra time. The French are going to be fresh.

Seems like the Underdog cup this one. The hopes of a small nation are upon this one and i know that when some Small Nation or the first time any Nation gets into Finals, the players will give their best and perform as it is their last day on earth!
Lets see a lot can change in the next 2 days. Expect a lot of yellow cards and fouls.
