One thing that struck me about this conflict is the massive hypocrisy of the responisbility game. Israel is held accountable for everything, Hamas, the supposed representatives of the Palestinians, is held accountable for nothing, unavailable for comment or answering for their actions, and the leader is sheltering in Qatar. Until the leader is handed over to the ICC I don't think anyone has the right to ask any questions.

That's how it works. The stronger and more influential power is the one that's always targeted. It's the same between India and Pakistan, and Russia and Ukraine. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong, it's about gaining leverage over the stronger power. The only exception is the West, but that's changing as the Global South is becoming more powerful.

They need to do more to emphasise the fact that Russia is behind it pulling the strings.

No, it doesn't look like Russia was involved in this. It seems to have come as a shock to them.

In fact, it's very likely that the Russians are supporting Israel behind the scenes. Putin and Netanyahu's phone call was also similar to what it's like between partners. It's 'cause they need Israel's support to maintain peace and continued control in Syria and vice versa, Israel needs help controlling Iran in Syria. They also need Israeli support in their actions in North Africa, as a rival to Turkey. Similarly, Egypt has been relatively quiet as well, again, 'cause of Turkey.

It also increasingly looks like the Iranian govt wasn't involved either, but the jury's still out on that.

How else do you explain the timing @RASALGHUL?

Right now I think Israel should probably think about stopping and spending the money on militarising the border with Gaza and increasing the deployment of Iron Beam, as well as plotting assassinations against key Hamas figures and supporters internationally, right up to Head of State level. This will ultimatelky achieve more in a way that less people will complain about.
If US wants, they can cripple hamas in a month, can bring the leaders to Israel or US with in hours. All they need to do is put an arms embargo on Qatar, dont allow them to sell gas to market.

Some people are arguing it is an airburst bomb.
Again, question is why should Israel attack a parking area?
They argue it's an airburst because they are idiots... or to be more nicely it doesn't fit their narrative.

Airburst JDAM would have done greater horrific damage melting the paint off the buildings likely the cinderblocks too.

qatar hosts american military and one of the US commands is located there.

Nothing but hot air, as usual.

I invite you to reread the North Atlantic Treaty, it explicitly protects ships in the Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean just as much as it protects the sovereign territories in Europe and North America.

The Japanese sunk American ships at Pearl Harbor. Fat lot of good it did them.

That could result in a response from other Gulf countries.

Don't try make false analogies again. :ROFLMAO: Ukraine defending their own country in response to an attack is not the same as Hamas launching an invasion of Israel, kidnapping women and children, executing them and firing rockets at Israeli cities out of the blue.

Oh sure, just like MH17. Well, now that Russia has shot down two of their own fighter jets in a week, tell me, who do you think shot down MH17 now eh?

All incorrect. Russia has always funded and armed those against Israel, and they are sympathetic to Hamas and they never condemned the attack once. (Although it would be hypocritical coming from them right now anyway.)

It also increasingly looks like the Iranian govt wasn't involved either, but the jury's still out on that.
So Hamas just decided to conduct a well-co-ordinated attack completely out of the blue with paratroopers?:ROFLMAO: Russia is the only one who benefits from this. Palestinians don't, Israelis don't, Iran won't either (tougher sanctions), hell even Hamas doesn't benefit.
