LCA Tejas Mk1 & Mk1A - News and discussions

One cannot say that without lift and drag coefficients. A bit confused with haigh manoeuvrability, agility and BVRAAM theory. Yes, they are to be taken into account. But it is just a few factors. I am not sure that Rafale RCS with 2 tanks (usual A2G configuration) has a larger RCS than SU 30 at all... The A2A configuration with one "small" centerline tank is considered as light by the FCS (9g limit).

Actualy, with one center tank, it is more limited to 10.5G than 9 (transient, not sustained manoeuver)

(Sorry for not staying on topic on the LCA thread

About my Rafale pilot friend about the 10.5G with centerline and mica, it was more like:
"I'm happy the rafale allows me to pull very tight evasive in a very wide flight domain even without dropping everything and stay able to fight at the limit with lots of fuel" kind of note

well in ops one is not sensed to go behind the limiter . Even if it is possible no?
I'm not sure you care for a software limit if you end up with a missile rushing to your *censored*. I'd say one is not suposed to get hit by the missile more than not to go behind the limiter...

end of my rafale in the LCA thread contribution)

Guess what☺☺☺

Looking similar to Gripen - E. With this, IAF no longer needs 114 foreign jets.

That's the idea of MCA .

Hopefully added wing pylons are also included.

Wide fuselage, with landing gear alterations with extra pylons similar to Gripen also followed.

Hope they will finalize this design with Canards, Maybe we will see some confirmation in 2019 airshow.
It's finalized.

Also if you see refueling probe is no longer fixed and visible. It's retractable.

Also if you can see air inlets have been moved forward.
