People's Liberation Army Navy : News & DIscussions

They could even make a Zumwalt type.
They generally stick to evolutionary designs rather than revolutionary ones to reduce dev risk. For example, the Type-055 is largely based on the Type-052D while the new Type-076 UAV carrier is derived from the Type-075 LHD. Hate to say it but top-notch aesthetics.

In many ways, they have been trend-setters in their own right with neighboring countries like Taiwan even copying/adapting their catamaran-hulled Type-022 Houbei class missile boat design for their own navy.

Type 022's older cousins are in Europe. The biggest one around is the Independence Class in the US. It's not an original design.

This looks more like a science experiment. For once, I thought they'd hacked into Bath Iron Works this time and got their hands on the Zumwalt blueprints.

Can anyone tell me what this has to do with the destroyer Zumwalt?
They all look like science fiction?

We are looking at two different ships designs. Probably a cousin of the Sea Hunter copy or a whole new design.

Anyway, it has a wave-pearcing bow and a box superstructure. That's qualities of the Zumwalt.

Even if they look like science fiction, all three ships are real.

These are USVs mush smaller than Zumwalt. They will eventually give way to new bigger designs.

The second ship likely improves on the Zumwalt with its outriggers.

Myanmar recently purchased seven ftc 2000g fighter jets, bringing the number of ftc 2000g fighter jets owned by Myanmar to 12
It is worth noting that these fighters are equipped with aesa radar, omnidirectional infrared missile warning system, can use the PL 12 air-to-air missile, In the case of the bvr, those fighters performed even better than tejas

I was going through the Sino Forum and found this:

Now, with the construction of two aircraft carriers—one conventional and one nuclear—underway, the large nuclear-powered aircraft carrier will have very impressive main dimensions. The size of aircraft it can accommodate will definitely not be limited to just the J-15T or J-35 alike; it will be capable of much more.

Looks like PLAN is developing two carriers simultaneously with one being similar to Fujian and other being a larger nuclear powered one. With this PLAN will be having 5 carriers in service by 2030.

From my observation of HAL, the more advance the PPT is, the less likely it is to be achieved. India would be better off buying the Dutch missile pylons to upgrade its combat capability cheaply and quicklyView attachment 39847
The SU-30 upgrade programme has been going on for almost 10 years and not a single Su-30 has been upgraded yet. India would be better off with a simple but effective upgrade programme.
Thanks for your advice & recommendations . We'd make sure HAL receives it & thank you in advance on behalf of HAL.

Meanwhile how do you respond to the western claim that China's not come out with a never ending fleet of SSNs & SSBNs because the MSS couldn't get their hands on the blue prints of such Russian , US , French or UK submarines ?

I have no knowledge of Chinese nuclear submarines, for example, now the United States claims that China is building 093B on a large scale, there is no public information except a photo.

093B in the end what is the level of technology, there is no public information, even the most optimistic estimate, is to reach the level of the late Los Angeles class submarine

If according to Westerners, from May 2022 to now, China has launched 7 093B vessels, with a launching interval of about 4 months, which is already quite fast.

According to Westerners, the scale of the new factory can produce 3-4 SSN and 1.5-2 SSBN a per year,
