Use this thread to post any updates & discussions regarding the 2nd Trump Administration (2025-2029), its policies & how they effect domestic & international events.

Topics may include the members of Trump's Cabinet, inner circle (Elon Musk, RFK Jr. etc) and the wider power structure within the US political system as it clashes with the new administration.

Trump asks Mike Waltz to serve as his national security adviser

Interview from last year:

Strongly supportive of India US ties, hawk on Pakistan, China set to be Trump's NSA-Michael Waltz. Was in Delhi year to participate in Independence day celebrations, along with other US lawmakers. Foreign policy foresight indeed for India to engage with him for a long time.

On Pakistan'terrorism cannot be a tool of foreign policy. And whether that's through Lashkar-e-Taiba or other types of terrorist groups, it's just unacceptable."

It's looking better and better for India, baby😎. Just hoping for the new US administration to offer us F-35 Block-4 with TOT and full local production(just copium I know, but still😁).

Pete Hesgeth, a Fox News TV presenter & former Army veteran is the new SecDef.

Seems the guy is gonna be tough on NATO for not pulling their weight - as expected.

First Matt Gaetz now this...

It's starting to look more & more like Trump may replace a lot more nominees based on who is likely to make it through Senate confirmation or not. That means Tulsi (DNI) & Kash Patel (FBI Director) may get the boot soon as well as they seem to rattle too many cages.

But without such a team, Trump's ability to enact radical change may also become limited - facing blowback, stonewalling & sabotage from within his Cabinet if he tries anything too different to what everyone is used to.

In other words, this might turn out very much like his first term.

With the exception of one GOP Senator on the fence he has enough GOP "YES" for confirmation.

One underrated advantage for India with this administration, having so many "friends of India," is that it will discourage the Pakistani deep state from carrying out serious terror attacks.

The scenes from US should be terrifying for them. Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, Marco Rubio and Vivek. Goddamn!.

And when Vance runs for president he will likely tap Vivek for his VP since they are both really good friends.

What exactly is the angle here? He knows that the money did not go to the Indian state but to NGOs. Is he pushing for an Indian investigation to set an example? Why is Modi not reacting with an investigation and scapegoating liberal institutions? They are against him anyway.
The money was clearly for regime change by Biden uncle. Trump might just be being petty considering 21 million dollars is a lot in Indian context. The Americans were paying 172 crores inr to affect the election. That's a lot of money in India to affect the result. Trump might just be trying to prove a point or is being petty with the money.
Modi might not be interested in angering the american deep state too much considering he's cozy with them boys.images (4).jpeg

Their power is being dismantle as we speak. Their money came from USAID and other bureaucracies that are dead or dying.
