If from HAL's side all the development work has been completed. All that remains is to actually get the final certifications against the desired psqr. Then surely if we want, that whole task can be completed within 30-45 days.

But if we are talking about taking a year to get to start of production. Then something is wrong in MoD.

There is no need to rush into anything. The hardest parts are already certified. Whatever that remains will be done on time. Certification takes time. If am right only an AoN has been approved. Even if things move at an brisk space, it will take atleast 2-3 years for MoD to place orders. Tejas mk1A price discussions alone took 2-3 years. I remember it was going to be signed in 2019 Aero India, then 2020, finally happened this year.
