Warship look aesthetically

Lmao...the russian host is a moron. Perpetuating falsehoods to contrast the progressiveness of his dying country. I didn't watch all of it but the things that stood out to me:Warship look aesthetically.... Even Russian host was impressed

Their SMO is also a big motivator for this shift. They are axing their own feet. The largest share of India’s imports came from Russia (36 per cent); however, this was a significantly smaller share than in 2015–19 (55 per cent) and 2010–14 (72 per cent). Going by the trends, “India is shifting its arms supply relations towards Western suppliers, most notably France, Israel and the USA.”
Come on man. Russia is not in a great place economically or demographically but "dying" is a bit much. Some east Asian democracies that would fit the "dying country" tag more appropriately. Still a very rude thing to say.his dying country
-When exploring the room with the mini-bar, guy went off the rails with connecting the comfort/leisure/amenities provided in the ship with caste system in Indian society. What the *censored* does caste system have anything to do with a mini-bar??? If indian sailors don't want to be as miserable as russian sailors, its their choice. Russians believe crew comfort is "haram", not everyone is that retarded. Russia is a top down society, a dictator presides over them, thats not the case with India[a democracy]. Indian doctrine is tilted towards western institutions/doctrine.
The mention of caste system/singing & dancing is a necessary for any foreign documentary on India/Indians. It helps explain away things that maybe difficult to understand. It also allows them to do a bit of moral grandstanding. I have lost count of the number of videos I have seen from DW, BBC, FRANCE24, NHK Japan, NYT, FOX etc. that do/say similar things.Of-course there was condescension & wierd fixation with how indians dance a lot??? Not even sure what the fu_ck that was about.![]()
I remember a YouTube video of an US news agency when India purchased INS Jalashwa in 2007-08. The host went on & on about how this then ~40-year-old USN ship was the most powerful ship of the Indian Navy. They were debating how this could affect the balance of power in the region vis-a-vis Pakistan. LMAO.-presenter tries to portray how indian sailors are proud to serve in such an advanced frigate. Also, tries to portray these ships as the most advanced in the indian navy???? I was laughing at that part. Its not even the most advanced frigate, forget the most advanced ship analogy. INS Nilgiri mogs this ship in every sense, it was commissioned just 2 months ago. Its construction timelines were faster as well.
-the presenter was a little sad noticing how more & more indian equipment was replacing russian equipment progressively with each ship in the series. Mused about make-in-india. Also, he noticed indians conducting their own R&D to either improve russian subsystems or create their own sub-systems. Also, the fact that last 2 ships in the series are being made in india must have been disheartening.
-presenter states that India is the largest importer of russian military equipment & makes up for the largest share of their profits. What he didn't mention is the fact that india has drastically reduced the share of russian imports.
Russia has a self-image of being a technologically advanced self-sufficient nation. Many other countries like France, Isreal, UK, Japan, SK etc. all have a very similar self-image. How true this claim is debatable. Ironically Australia & Canada also seem to have a very similar self-image. LMAO.I noticed this russian pride being shattered little-by-little when I saw a russian article about the Su-57 w.r.t. India. The article was about an Indian analyst/retired servicemen[?? not sure, dont remember clearly] saying that India should buy the airframe of Su-57 & put Indian Aesa Radars/avionics/electronics in it, if it was to enter Indian service. The russians in the comments were furious how could indians even think of that?? Indians should be grateful that Su-57 was even offered to them.
Salt mining in the comment section is the only reason I read British news media's coverage on India. Are you telling me I have to now follow Russian media?Russians are in for a rude shock how the world percieves them in coming decades. One comment was lamenting that the reason Indians had the audacity to propose such a thing was because indians percieve russia as a dying country and they wanted the usable scraps they could take before dumping russia. This comment was pretty far down & didn't have alot of upvotes & replies. Atleast, some russians had critical thinking skills.
