The problem with low res grainy images is we don't know if it's real.
Phones have advanced enough for proper 1080p images at the bare minimum. Why aren't those available?
We may have lost aircraft, but considering the level of damage done to Pakistan, it's gonna be nothing.
A few technical things need to be prioritized by DRDO for the next skirmish.
I think it's sensible to lock this discussion in one or two days; we need to discuss in individual topics—it's all mixed up now.
- Upgrade Astra MK1 or MK2 Seeker if it's weak.
- Work on direct energy as a full-scale drone killer.
- Work on hypersonic missiles for A2A and A2G.
- Work on Indian S400+

May be IAF was under the impression that PAF would not be fire upon IAF jets as they were not able to do during Balakot strike. According to the then Air Chief BS Dhanoa in an interview that no PAF aircraft was within 150 KM range.
It is really bizarre on IAF to do so despite knowing the fact they Pakistan already had PL-15 E for sure and got the real PL-15 on emergency basis.
