US - Israel - Iran War

Our chinese friend overestimate the impact of the oblique shockwave on those fins and deceleration thanks to it. It isn't gonna be as rapid as he claims. It will decelerate but way more gradually and slowly. And so the speed is going to stay in between mach 6-8 at such a short range. That speed with high maneuverability is enough to get past any modern AD.

The warhead is a high L/D design, more than 2. While oblique shockwaves does affect it, it will only reduce speed by a little bit. He's overestimating the effect.

We can tell 'cause the CEP is less than 30 m, it means the warhead can adjust its AoA to counteract its effects.

Btw, its range and speed have been underestimated, the DRDO brochure doesn't do it justice. A 10.2 x 1.2 m, 11.5T two-stage design would mean the release speed would be pretty high. Overall it's a mach 6+ design at impact. To get to an altitude of 100 km with 2 stages, we can estimate that each stage would add 2.5 km/s each to the missile's speed. So 5 km/s is mach 15. To put it in perspective, Agni I has a single stage and achieves a release speed of 2.5 km/s.

With a release speed of mach 15, we could see it stabilizing at anywhere between mach 7-10 and impacting at mach 6-8, but at ranges exceeding what DRDO's claimed. Different trajectories would give it different ranges and speeds.

I understand national pride, I have it myself. However China does have it's issues

@Innominate

What is US + Israel counter to hypersonic missiles that Iran seems to using? Also, Iranian missiles seem to have breached Israel's defenses. What is the counter?

I want USA + Israel to have a decisive victory and possibly regime change ayatollah.

False nothing is wrong with Celestial superpower China, their systems are invincible. Their ultra sonic HQ9 and HQ19 can easily intercept anything including Martian UFOs let alone F35 as seen in Iran. The HQ9s in Pakistan during 7th-10th May were just taking rest (something which is alien to those Chinese children working in sweatshops making dildos for westerners). Otherwise for sure HQ9 would have easily shot down the entire strike package of IAF if it wasn't taking rest. Now we will see Chinese SAMS downing 500 F35 Adirs in Iran. @Innominate tell F35 to be careful of Celestial Power China's tech 😥.

The lack of modern air force is showing what can happen when the adversary gains dominance. TELs not disguised well are sitting ducks when the air superiority reaches such levels. The hypersonic stockpiles remaining are the only concern of the Israelis'. The oil depots in Iran are pretty much left open for strikes. The Israelis' are striking them with precision munitions since yesterday. That being said the Israelis' are having to stomach the loss of civilians in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. Expect the nations with advance BMD systems to pay attention to the Hypersonic weapons being used by the Iranians. Modern built up cities are far too clustered together to not be subject to massive damage when targeted. I do not agree with the ridicule of the Iron dome layers being done by several "experts". It has done a good job so far in preventing large scale casualties with the technology that it currently deploys. Arrow remains a good battle tested system as does THAAD.

A missile gets through and hits Tel Aviv.
