For me the holy grail is Steno Shishir & HT , now that PSK is no more or no longer active & his cheap imitations out here turned out to be just that .

If Steno Shishir or his team confirms it , that's as good as official .

I had been watching this guy's Youtube channel for a while. Off late the entire focus has shifted to how Japan is a paradise and India is at the bottom end of the third world. People in the comments are usually in agreement lamenting how India is pretty much a useless country. This trend - I now have a new passport or a PR and let's put down India was limited to twitter earlier. However, steadily I am seeing a few Indians going abroad and ranting how India is not upto standards.

I know of a similar guy who was here in SG. I saw him pissing in the drain along a highway when we travelling in a northern state in India. Explanation - 'Yaha to chalta hai'/'It's fine here'. The dhaba literally a 100m away had a working restroom. It is just that here no one will shame and fine him. Also, if he violated the law a couple of times he would be jail. However, in India I have never seen the law being harsh when it comes to road safety or civic responsibility. Law enforcement needs to improve - this is the most basic solution that India needs.

The duality was jarring. You're praising your current country of residence and as soon as you land in India you start behaving like an uneducated fool. This chap had a bachelor's from the UK, it was truly something seeing him behave like another person in India. You've been abroad and have seen the rest of the world, treat your native country better. Fines are the best way. Kyoto and SG have high fines for public littering. This is one of the ways in which bigger cities in India can manage their issues with civic responsibilities. Enforcement is another aspect as I pointed out. Unfortunately, the local and state officials will have to put in a ton of effort.

I think people will still go and watch these films. Saddening part is that many of these same Bollywood stars are reluctant to voice their support when India goes to war.
