I now have a new passport or a PR and let's put down India was limited to twitter earlier. However, steadily I am seeing a few Indians going abroad and ranting how India is not upto standards.
I know of a similar guy who was here in SG. I saw him pissing in the drain along a highway when we travelling in a northern state in India. Explanation - 'Yaha to chalta hai'/'It's fine here'. The dhaba literally a 100m away had a working restroom. It is just that here no one will shame and fine him. Also, if he violated the law a couple of times he would be jail. However, in India I have never seen the law being harsh when it comes to road safety or civic responsibility. Law enforcement needs to improve - this is the most basic solution that India needs.
