LCA Tejas Mk1 & Mk1A - News and discussions

We need to find out the exact reason, transparently and fix the problems.
Responsibility should be taken for the cause of failure ..

So that everyone takes the job seriously.

Series of ALH accidents, then the problem found out.. fixing the problem has been not emphaticly published..

Now ALH and LUH has become out of focus..
Imports are all creeping in.

And ALH is well established product.

If we are not doing things seriously.. Mk1A will hit bumps and Mk2 will become doubtful..

Who knows the Single Engine fighter import will make a comeback instead of Mk2
LUH is having a confirmed 200 orders. Only thing HAL needs to do is reduction of noise level inside the copter.
Around 400+ ALH & Its armed derivatives are in service. How much more do u need?

Now Indian aeronautical indsustry, IAF & MOD reached in a position that turning back from LCA Mk1a is an impossible task. Yo

In the latest news regarding
Some concessions given to HAL , it was mentioned that Those particular Things were being taken care of By ADA ,.and would take 1 year

Now this is surprising that ADA is still Tinkering with Mk1A

We were given to understand that MK1A is an HAL project

I don't want confirmed orders , rather improvement and perfection with every model.. that's normally done by OEMs ..

If that's the case why would a foreign helicopters in the same segment set up the shop here...?

Because we have quite a lot of obstacles at every stage to overcome..

These obstacles seems eternal unless it's an emergency..

It was KA 226 & HAL LUH. Because of the Ukrain war we could not procure KA 226 and is now replaced by European copter.

Jesus Christ! Tejas are dropping like flies.

Will some one please cancel this entire drama filled stupidity?
This is only the 3rd crash since the LCA Tejas entered service back in 2015.
IAF has operated aircrafts with far poorer safety records but no one bats an eyelid since they are imports, and then we have got import shills like you that want cancellation of all indigenous programs.
Thank god people like you aren't in the MoD.

I think he is sarcastic..he is guy who was scolding HAL for not stocking up 100s of GE engines before the closure of production of F404.
