It was KA 226 & HAL LUH. Because of the Ukrain war we could not procure KA 226 and is now replaced by European copter.
This is only the 3rd crash since the LCA Tejas entered service back in 2015.
IAF has operated aircrafts with far poorer safety records but no one bats an eyelid since they are imports, and then we have got import shills like you that want cancellation of all indigenous programs.

Most probably a landing accident, pilot didn't ejected, the plane was intact but the airfarme is damaged beyond repair

Brake failure is a Relatively less challenging issue

If it's part of IAF, the maintenance duty falls under IAF responsibilities, so HAL can't be blamed here. It could be a failure of some hydraulic system that needs to be checked with the OEM.

There are no pictures and no one has provided a detailed overview of what happened. Let the CoI happen. Most of what is floating around is groundless speculation. I am glad the pilot is safe and receiving necessary medical treatment.
