What is the safety against drone attack for these ships ?

Which drone your mulk has which can reach 800 km? Because this frigate can literally stay that far away and still strike your ports through Brahmos. Unless your subs can come closer and launch drones but Pakistan will not have that capability even in 100 years unless they suck China enough ig.

They are now a regular weapon, many will be intercepted, some will make it past defenses and strike their targets.
They have SRGM, 2x 12.mm SRCG and 2x AK-630 for drones. In future AK-630 will be replaced by a gun missile system.
Russian fighters & helicopters also hunt surface drones boats.
Yes, Helicopters and probably even VBSS units on board the ship will help with the defence.
The P-17As have the Strales version 76mm SRGM which shoots guided rounds. Considering its high rate of fire, this tech essentially turns it into anti-missile system. UAVs are small fry.

Even then Pappustanis don't have any drones which can scarcely threaten our ships. It takes brains to do what the Iranians have done which inbr3ds don't tend to have. They could buy Shahed type drones from China tho. In that case we would need soft kill/hard kill options.
In the first pic, we see that the ship is armed with non stealthy cupola for the 76mm. In the last group photo pic, we see the stealth cupola. Which one is it?
We have seen this same phenomenon with some of the Vizag class destroyers. My guess is that MDL has some older non-stealthy cupola 76mm SRGMs that they use as a placeholder during contractor sea trials. The old gun is then swapped out with a new one before delivery.
New improved FGM mogami upgrade could be an option for P-17B..... We have already copied talwar design elements & made a better frigate in shivalik. Why not build 8 new frigate on mogami design but much bigger.
Bigger isn't necessarily better. We need to standardise and increase VLS. The new generation Mogami will have 32 strike-length VLS which will give it twice the firepower of Kolkata's (16) at nearly half the weight.
We can make do without automation though.
Heck the much hyped deal for Japanese Unicorn masts hasn't moved past the MoU stage after all these years. Lets not even talk about the long dead Shinmaywa US-2 amphib ac deal or Japan's refusal to participate in P-75I with the Soryu class SSK.

It won't happen. Our ESM and communications are different from that of Japan and there is a limitation on close these systems can be with each other.
We'll have to redesign these systems for a complete different set of specifications.
They'll have to come up with one of our own. Japan might provide consultation as best.
BEL has already managed to design an integrated comms+ew antenna that can fit within a FSS radome as seen in the pics below. A mockup was displayed some yrs back.
Unicorn itself should have reconfigurable antenna elements or it won't be of much use to the IN.

Would love if we could hands on this, the design principles and efficient designs used by the japanese would help optimize our future platforms. This is very impressive stuff.
