These guys aren't a real engine manufacturer at scale.

It's run by a few students with money.

While their stuff is good, it is not scalable above this project scale.

They often inflate their actual technical capabilities and figures for social media likes.

Not to be taken seriously for defence related usage. Not gonna happen unless they hire real engineers and work on scalable stuff.

No design capacity for bigger designs, they don't have the equipment, most importantly, they literally are not structured to be able to do anything bigger than these vanity projects.

No employee strength. It is not how a real startup is run

Maybe they can hire more people and scale up production if they are guaranteed large order but I understand your sentiment.

That's a chicken/egg problem. Given your criteria, no one would have invested in 3 guys in a garage in Los Altos that we call Apple today... You are almost certainly right, but every engine manufacturer in India needs to be given a fighting chance and they're doing some things others are not...
