Indian Army Aviation showcases 24×7 operational readiness in Jaisalmer during Exercise Trishul
Spotted those flying few days ago post lunchtime, light was bad that day. Yesterday & day before there were 4 ALH (2 of those being in Rudra config probably, black skin, other 2 green & black) 2 LCH and 2 cheetah chetak type were flying. Quite amazing that when flying at a distance I could not hear any sound and only relatively close by you could hear them coming suddenly. Very very intimidating formation , can easily take good panga with any enemy formation.Army helicopters and mounted police carried out rehearsals at Kolkata’s Maidan ahead of ‘Vijay Diwas’ celebrations, including the Eastern Command’s military tattoo. Another thing, i think LCH will never be used in dedicated tank buster role, it will likely play support fire role due to very good quick reaction & maneuver ability. It is way more sharp & quick reactive compared to the ALH which were taking a longer turn radius. Last year army had 1 LCH, this year 2 so bodes well for future years hehe.
That is cos I can not differentiate between the 2Didn't know the IA flew Cheetahs too.

I wasn't being snarky. Just referring to this picture Ashwin shared. That is cos I can not differentiate between the 2![]()

Saw something about the 3 apaches to be delivered soon within few days/weeks in the morning, those are coming within this month apparently. I will fetch the link/news later when I get time back.No news of remaining 3 apaches and no news of Prachand with a SPS and an ATGM as 2025 end.
Welcome to worlds largest poorly managed group of men trying to be an armed force.
