Did not take that many, those were the ones for that part. The DMRL scientist was speaking and explaining quite a bit at that online session. Spoke something about russians having a 1 meter penetrator made, possibly also offered to us.Nope, can you send the full presentation of all 54 pages pls?

Was this event, online webinar. Now DMRL scientist stressed more on material side related work but since it was mostly the Eastern & NE part of academic institutions took part most researchers were talking about food, or civilian use research work, some renewable material things like that. Less about the angle DMRL wanted to provide scope of research work. Not sure they found the intended target audience there. This is interesting. Is it some video which I can watch or was it some private event? Also was there something on armour like the new generations of Kanchan?
Do we know why the Whap hasnt been ordered in significant numbers yet? or is india waiting for the AAP ?
Looks like an up-armored config as the gun ports along the sides aren't visible. The turret looks like an in-house design too.Won't be surprised if they decide to purchase it before we do:

So, 24 + 16 = 40 rounds in total. Pretty good actually. Arjun Mk1A carries ~42 rounds in total.
Arjun Mk1A is a 68-ton tank carrying 42 rounds, 120 mm rifled gun, no autoloader, 4-man crew & a power to weight ratio of 20.5 hp/ton. NGMBT will be a 45-55 ton tank carrying 40 rounds, 120 mm smoothbore gun on a crewless turret, bustle mounted auto-loader, 3-man crew, with a power to weight ratio of 27+ hp/ton (assuming 55-ton weight).

The DATRAN 1500 hp engine is already under testing. No news on the 120mm smoothbore gun. This gun will borrow the gas extraction mechanism, breech locking & loading mechanism from the 120 mm rifled gun of the Arjun. Only the barrel will be all new.

That is some pic of other people's stuff
Looks very different than the image that leaked before.DRDO Crewless turret for AAP.View attachment 50209View attachment 50210
