A few posts above, You put up a good article about the Rafale EW and the coming SEAD
The article included the new Falcon SIGINT, which I think is a game changer for France and I posted about it before, It is good

Then you go and say something stupid, EA isn't notable on any platform yet, Denying the need of a force multiplier, doesn't make it better

I don't think that will be enough, EA will be more than just hanging a pod, no matter how good it is, The architecture has to be integrated into the avionics, sensor fusion,

Not an easy task, Your SU-30 uses the Russian system, which is already done
We could even give you a Growler pod, but it needs the architecture sensor fusion to make it work

Agreed, but it would need an entire new system, It's too hard and cost prohibitive, They have the SPECTRA self defence jamming,
If it was easy, the Rafale would have a dedicated EA pod,
As I said, your SU already had the Russian system, to hook your EA into

It's just because you confuse SEAD and external jammer pods. I did, however, provide an official document explaining the French doctrine on SEAD, but it seems too difficult for you to read a text of more than three lines, and besides, it would contradict your convictions.

What are you on about, I said "You put up a good article about the Rafale EW and the coming SEAD"

There is no confusion between Rafale's upcoming F5 SEAD and EA pods, Perhaps it is you that is confused when you say EA is an "external jammer pod" it is far more than that, You live in a French bubble and know nothing about other capabilities

The discussion is about Indian EA pods on their SU and having it on the Rafale
