Afganistan - Pakistan Conflict

Few weeks ago, we were talking about Xi's timelines and how they were getting impacted due to multiple pressure points.

China's delay on Hangors, J-35s is to keep the scales from tipping while India tries to avoid getting suckered into an Alliance.
Doubt that's the case though. J-35s have just started being inducted by the Chinese. Full fledged production would take time. Even then they'd give their own requirements priority.

As far as the Hangor class submarines go there were certain procurement issues wherein PN wanted German AIPs which the latter denied them. Could be other issues too which delayed the project.

However the first Hangor class submarine is expected to be commissioned into the PN either this year or early next year.

From what I understand PN should have all 8 nos by 2030 probably around the same time they'd be getting the J-35.

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif announced the start of open war against the Taliban government in Afghanistan. He stated, "The Taliban have turned Afghanistan into an Indian colony, gathered terrorists from all over the world, deprived their own people of basic human rights, and stripped women of their rights." It's worth noting that Afghanistan currently remains the only country in the world where girls over 12 are banned from studying, and universities are completely closed to women.

There are conflicting reports of casualties in the fighting. Pakistani media reports that 72 Afghan soldiers were killed and another 120 wounded in the attacks. Afghanistan, for its part, claims 55 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a border operation.
A Pakistani Air Force F-16 fighter jet was hit by a MANPADS. The Taliban is using suicide bombers to attack Pakistani checkpoints; one of them is shown in a video, but the moment of the explosion is edited out.
