Couldn't understand what he meant. Are we developing a new AWACS radar which has 360° coverage in Netra Mk-1A program?

Does this news mean that aircraft for the Netra Mk1A project have been identified and are being procured?

It seems that he is confirming the development of six NETRA AWACS along with one Airbus 320 equipped with a 360-degree radar, which is being developed by the DRDO. Not sure what is the source behind it.
 
Isn't there a problem in finding emb145 airframes ?
Embraer has offered to provide new aircraft instead of used airframes for the Indian Air Force's (IAF) Netra program: [1]
Praetor 600
Embraer proposed the Praetor 600 as an alternative to the ERJ145, which is no longer being produced. The Praetor 600 would provide a new, advanced aircraft that could meet the IAF's needs for six more AEW&CS platforms. [1]

Embraer is also considering a partnership with Mahindra Defence Systems to establish a local assembly line for the C-390. This would allow Embraer to transfer advanced manufacturing capabilities to India's defense sector. [2]
The IAF currently operates three ERJ145 platforms provided by Embraer for the Netra Mk1 AEW&CS program. The Netra is an early warning aircraft used for surveillance and intelligence missions. [1, 2]

In July, the IAF issued a ‘Request For Information’ for the procurement of six AEW&C along with the associated ground segment from registered Indian vendors. According to the requirements, the primary radar should be a multimode/multifunctional solid state 4D AESA (Active Electronically Scanner Array) radar incorporating 360-degree coverage with range not less than 400 km, and be able to detect airborne targets flying as low as 30 metres from the ground to as high as 20 km.

The platform requirement is for a customised jet aircraft configured with payloads/systems of AEW&C and on-board workstations, have endurance of eight hours and above, with an operational altitude of 40,000 feet and above, and also featuring air-to-air refuelling and fuel dumping capability.




This is where Maniswa got the write up from except this is for the A-321 since the EMBRAER Emb -145 operates at a ceiling of < 37,000 feet .

He seems to have mixed three different projects and created a single post. From what it seems:
06 Netra Mk-1A (Embraer based)
06 Netra MK-2 (Airbus A-321 based)
Both Mk-1A and Mk-2 will have 300° coverage.

And now 06 New AEW&C with 360° for which RFI was issued.

Is there a 3rd project ? What's the nomenclature for the AEW&C for the A-321 program ? If that's the Mk-1a what's the nomenclature for the 6 nos with the EMBRAER Emb-145 project ? The article calls it the Mk-1a with minor modifications.

Weren't there issues with the price point Airbus asked for the modifications of the A-321 taken from AI ? What happened to that ? Maybe this RFI is for that requirement as a back up ?

RFIs are to gauge market not a new development unless its approved by DAC. There won’t be three simultaneous projects. If we are going with the tenders should be perusing tanker-awacs two in one system.

Just two months ago, the Air Chief provided an update on the Netra Mark 1A and Airbus-based AWACS during a press conference. Thats the update there is nothing more.
