There was nothing staged about Karachi stock exchange attack. I believe you are talking about Karachi Chinese consulate attack? Those fighters had no clue what they were doing and walking through the middle of the road spaying bullets like half drunk.

However, Karachi stock exchange attack was conducted by BLA and they claimed it through their official media outlets. Fighters were part of Majeed regiment of BLA

BLA fighters are not that good in urban areas anyways. They are deadly in their own mountain terrains of Balochistan, but not so much in an Urban fight.

These guys seems very well trained in setting up the ambush and mounting attacks on enemy posts.

Whoever is training them must have decades of experience in such kind of warfare. Which I don’t think any Indian Agency has.

Indeed. Ambush of moving vehicles is not easy, that too on main highways + these guys are doing it repeatedly. The IEDs are also very powerful, and cited & timed very well.

Ironically, Pakistan has managed to contain this by letting the Frontier Corps suffer. The force is clearly being used as cannon fodder and training is worse than the insurgents. The continued reliance on civil spec Toyotas is shocking. I mean there is not even an attempt use some form of improvised armour so that the troops have a chance.

Recently they lost senate election and such incidents are bound to happen.

I’ve heard that Dictator Mushy has advised his Gernails not to venture in Dangerous areas like Karachi and Islamabad in military uniform and in Official vehicle due to fear from TTP.

Is that true ?

Mushy was a great leader and very beneficial for the country.
At the time it wasn't TTP in Karachi, it was MQM.
They used to target kill military personnel, because military disrupted their gangs and fear based rule on the city.
Orchestrated by Altaf Hussain......who sits in London.

It’s very easy blame politicians for anything.
But tell me one thing, which is more important to your military generals an APC to the soldiers patrolling or a Mercedes

Don't understand the prevalence of pickups in Pak military, while virtually nil in Indian forces. Only small quantities of Tata Xenons have been seen, but otherwise it's either Gypsy or Mahindra Jeeps. Nothing wrong of right here, just curious about the difference.

I am surprised that Pakistani have not even attempted any improvised armour such welding steel plates on the pickups to improve survivability.

Even the Gypsys RR using or Rakshak of JK Police are heavily armoured by BP plates in bottom and all four sides .

Although it’s ineffective for IEDs but they provide good protection against small arms terrorists commonly use.

Pickup trucks are used widely by many militarises for swift mobilisation of troops.
Problem is in CT ops where troops are at risk of Ambush and IEDs.
It’s utter incompetence of PA top brass to send troops in Pickups for patrolling. They can easily get something like BAZ Tigr, ejder yalçın or Otokar Cobra at deferred payments from Turkey or 🇧🇾
But then Bajwas and Raheels have to compromise on their luxuries

We are fine with providing security to the Generals as they are way too important.
