No, it's the easiest one.
Tougher would be to choose among 2 young individuals or between family members..
Or to discontinue Ventilatiory support to someone..
Or we clearly want to give it to someone but pressure from some where to offer the ICU bed to someone who isn't clearly first choice..
Many decisions like that..
When the situation become s as bad as in Italy where elderly cannot be given ventilation only nasal oxygen ..
Many will die around.
It's going to hurt the morale..
With limited resources, with even risk of getting the infection to oneself..
And responsibility to explain the situation to patient s relatives...

Nothing poltical here , despite me hating the communist to the core have to agree that they did well in Kerala , Orissa too did well in containing . Both the states i have quoted are non-BJP ruled and there no shortage of covidiots in both these states . Tell me what made the difference in these two ? i dont see anything other a good political leadership with a intent to work on ground and the experience to handle such disasters .

Delhi must go back to complete lockdown. Things are going out of hand in Delhi. Lock down for another 15 days and do house to house testing of full population.

I wonder if their *ANY* recommendations are worthwhile now. It is not a research or medical body but a beaurocratic political body.
As of now the practice stands, if a person is tested and gets confirmed COVID19, he is sent for treatment. His immediate family members are requested to go in self quarantine with markers placed around the house. However there is nobody to enforce this. Further they are not tested once first person is confirmed infected till next kin gets COVID19. And the process keeps repeating till all get infected. Happened in my neighborhood month back.
