Chinese Wuhan Virus Thread

I don't get it. Don' you need self isolation for 14 days.I thought it stays alive for 14 days. So in those 14 days it can spread. So isolating only one day doesn't break any chain.

We also need to quarantine ships movements (goods transfer) also.

Niazi has already told Pakistanis to prepare for an epidemic. So the govt there has no intention of controlling the virus.

No sir,

14 days is the incubation period. Which means it takes 1-14 days for the symptoms to show up once infected. The virus infection can stay for weeks and months like influenza or cold. Infection can spread on the second day as well to people around the infected person whether he shows the symptoms or not.

Don't think 22nd is of any importance rather than a drill. However today's important because of Jumma namaz on Friday. Modi came and declared emergency, albeit subtly just before prime time debates.

Now sh!t is serious when Modi addresses nation, physiological effect.

Even my Muslim friends tell me that they can't think of anyone else in these trying times other than Modi.

Yeah, even I think this is just a trial run.
 
Iran's case is really special. They are not conducting tests on those who have mild cases. They are only testing those who show severe symptoms.

Which means they must be much higher than Italy, perhaps close to China's cases.

I mentioned 22nd March, 28th March 08 Apr and 01 Aug. This virus will die out in India after 08 Apr and you will see relief coming from 22nd Mar when Mars enters capri followed by Jupiter on 28th which will significantly reduce the ill effects of Saturn and Ketu.
