This was going to be worse than Pulwama if authorities hadn't caught most of the module. We could have seen something similar to serial bombing of Mumbai. I would say they were planning to pull a Mumbai bomb blast like scenario in Delhi. Their next target could very will be Mumbai.

There are quite a few ' South Asia' experts who tend to peddle a softer narrative that promotes some kind of dialogue post such incidents. This guy is another member of the very same group. He certainly has a bias (he would have you believe that such a thing does not exist and he is a neutral observer). I stopped taking his views seriously a year ago after going through his TL. Tanvi is another such individual whom I stopped following for geopolitics (for different reasons).

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "If castor beans are chewed and swallowed, the ricin that comes out can cause injury". Ricin can also be created from the residual waste left after processing castor beans.
According to this piece in the Scientific American from 2013, a mere 3 milligrams of ricin is enough to poison and kill a human being. Three milligrams is a minuscule fraction of a teaspoon. Extrapolating this, the ricin extracted from a single castor seed is enough to poison hundreds of persons.

Allswede, a toxicologist at the Center for Biosecurity at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to write that: "A speck of pure ricin the size of a grain of salt is enough to kill if it is injected or swallowed".
No. Currently there is no known antidote to ricin even as research is ongoing to create one.
This is really what stood out of all the news that came out yesterday! In some ways, this is even more concerning than the Delhi blast. Imagine, if these things are out there, all they need is 1 success and guess what the death toll will look like! This is what nightmares are made of!

Trying to clean 0.5 is a game of whack-a-mole! You cannot win this. Country wide crackdown and you get 40% of them, that too if you are lucky. Real percentage will be even less. There is a very clear correlation between Munir landing in trouble and attacks on India - this has been proven. Add to it the fact that he wants to be sole commander of Pakistan (including it's N-stockpile) should pretty much tell us what he intends to do. That's the head of the snake. What's embolden'd Pak is the fact that US is behind them, they think they can get away with anything. Given the current posture that India is maintaining, this is an open challenge to Indian leadership - we attacked, now let's see you do what you want to do! They have the implied security of Trump behind them - that's something that has to be broken. This is the direct fallout of the 10th May CF when we were pretty much on the top, we squandered the opportunity (like I have said in the past, we never miss an opportunity - to miss an opportunity). We are dealing with a Jihadi in uniform who understands one language - force. We have to get rid of him & in the process, ensure that Pak's military capabilities are close to non-existent this time around. That's the only way to establish long term deterrence.
Let's not make the same mistake of overthinking this - there is no shortcut to solving this problem. It has to be solved with force and strength.
We have lived this in 90's and mid 2000's. There used to be announcements in public places to be aware of strange goods, children were told not to touch any strange toy/objects in public places, tv ads used to be there with repeated warnings. So for us this is not new. Every year there used to be such horrifying incidents, bad to say but the nation was used to it.
If Pakistan has restrated their Qurban Ali doctrine then it's not a good sign and it requires some measures. They have done so because you gave them chance to do it.
