Police can only shoot if their life is danger , not bcos some one has violated traffic rules. It is the judiciary which has the power to jail ppl or not based on established laws , police only enforce them.

That pic of those citizens exercising their 2nd amendment rights was before SCOTUS ruling so back then folks had to parade their arms to make a point that 2nd amendment protects citizens allowing them to carry in PIBLIC which the state capitol building just happens to be a PUBLIC building.
