General Atomics MQ-9B SkyGuardian/SeaGuardian Drone for the Indian Armed Forces

GA is pitching their product. Its an absurdly expensive and unproven product at that time. At best they have made some presentations. You have fallen for the PR.

Nope. The sale was rejected by GOTUS on ITAR grounds during the Obama era. It was a sizeable deal involving ~100 drones and worth billions. It was only after Trump 1.0 that the US changed its policy on the export of armed drones to non-NATO countries.

So you think that Our GHATAK, MUM -T ,CATS warrior etc will be immune to being shot down

On the One hand we Applaud our Akashteer system for knocking out Enemy drones and on the other we don't want to lose anything in real and active combat 🤣
Ghatak, Cats warrior are VLO platforms, shooting them wouldn't be easy, especially for platforms like Ghatak similarly the Chinese & western counterparts, these are stealth drones,

If shooting down of stealth platforms was that easier then breaching the Indian airspace would have been a challenging task,

Drones like mq9 are sitting duck in front of network AD, or any given AD, it's slow it's big target and are already expensive
