India-Australia Relations

The last time we hosted a 5 I PM , he behaved like a perfect clown . Which is why it was surprising to see soyboy Trudeau being re elected . Albanese here seems much more sober & mature in comparison

Aussies are really cool people. My school's principal was an Aussie(Father Jeff Miller) and he really was a cool and cordial person. A great fan of Hindi language and poems of Vajpayee ji.

The current Aussie PM also looks like a very cool person. I am impressed by him. Just hope Australia gets over old bitterness and India-Australia relationship improve further.

If they aren't citizens and are here on a visa or TR, PR. After court and any punishment. It will be a quick flight back to India.

In other words if they are citizens they get a slap on the wrist i e a sentence followed immediately by it's suspension.

It's wrong to assume they must be Indian. They could be Pakistani Sikhs, Afghani Sikhs, British Sikhs, Canadian Sikhs etc logically speaking.

You are right. It was an unfounded assumption. I was going by my Sikh friends here from Punjab. Who aren't extremists by the way. The Pakistani and Afghani I know, tend to be Muslim here. I don't know one who I can identify Sikhi

They are also being reported as Indian
Over the weekend, a Melbourne landmark became the centre of an ugly clash between two Indian ethnic groups in scenes rarely seen in Australia. Footage posted to social media captured the moment about 100 people broke out into a fight, using flags as weapons outside Federation Square on Sunday afternoon.1 Feb 2023

Pakistan and Afghanistan are majority Islamic country, however there is still sizable community within Pakistan even if under attack often. You can refer to below link for general information.

Even foreign based Pakistani people agree on the persecution of minorities in Pakistan.

Extremely radicalized Pakistani people wanted to even forcefully change the name of City where founder of Sikhism.

In Afghanistan, last of the Sikhs left few months ago post ISIS attacks.

India did this after 2nd last attack on Sikhs in Afghanistan.
India on Wednesday evacuated thirty Afghan Sikhs, including children, from Kabul. A non-scheduled commercial flight of Afghanistan’s Kam Air brought the individuals from Kabul to the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here with the help of officials and civil society activists. According to civil society sources, who have been involved in coordinating the evacuation of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, around 110 Hindus and Sikhs remain in Kabul which continues to suffer from terror attacks.

An ex-Khalistani terrorist speaking...

One of the last Sikhs to reach India from Afghanistan...

Punjabi ethnic group is spread in both Indian and Pakistani states of Punjab. Again ethnicity doesn't necessarily mean must be Indian. If they're Indian, and Australia deports them, Indian legal system will leave the punishment as per the said laws being delivered by our justice system.

And yes we are here to share & learn, for our own benefit in some way. Every day is a good day to learn something new.
