Porous border, smuggling heaven, could be police criminal encounter or maybe anything else. Why injure Indian people on the border where there is no dispute? My ex colleague hails from that area. Area is very well demarcated on both sides with clear boundary. It seems something else. Let's see what comes out of it.

But if it's open border then claiming illegal entry seems fishy.I won't be surprised if you listen villagers capture these policeman and keep them hostage or kill them in retaliation.
It's a local law enforcement incident, or that's how India is taking it. Standard policing work and all, no national or international dimensions so far.1 Indian national dead, many injured as Nepal's Armed Police Force (APF) Personnel at Narayanpur, Sarlahi border fire at group of Indians.
