It's not an empty threat. These yahoos won't come in as soldiers, don't care if they die and will merge into the population to slaughetr innocents and not army personnel.
Right now it looks unlikely anything will happen. Both sides are like acting like its a parking dispute in Delhi eyeing each other and repeating - Haath laga ke dikha.

Let those Pak bureaucrats keep thinking like that. What do you think we will do when they try something like this? This reminds me of the question posed by Sardar Patel to the emissary of Nizam when that guy said they will massacre Hindus.

I believe you haven't visited any border town in Rajasthan. Any newcomer to the town is identified and reported in no time. You have informers everywhere. It's next to impossible for a bunch of yahoos to cross over and mingle in the population. and they try that over loc they will be sent to their 72 virgins.

You are contradicting yourself.. Plunder is always done in groups.. Hence they will be pretty obvious and stand out.. No point in pursuing such fantastical scenarios, we are wasting space here
For India, all the more reason War in near term (1-2 years) is eminent...
1) As economic activity falls, to divert public ire a diversion of sizable proportions will be on cards like War with known enemy..
2) Besides War always ends up reviving economy (history of 1st & 2nd World War as example) due to all the demand generated for war effort and rebuilding..
Pakistan should pray, India don't enter recession, which seems very likely. A economic robust India will always prefer to grow so big that Pakistan is irrelevant in future, means more secure Pakistan in near to mid terms, while India pursue its economic dreams. A cornered Cat strikes hardest, so the saying goes. Hence cornering a elephant is asking for sure shot trouble, no matter how gentle it is by nature.
