This is the 2nd VHF radar seen in recent months. Previously we saw the DRDO VHF-S band radar on a TATA HMV chassis.

We are stepping up our counter VLO/stealth game.

VHF-band surveillance radar (VHF-SR) by the DRDO-BEL #TASL.
- 400km range
- Can Track up to 100 targets simultaneously.
- GaN TR modules

System has recently entered into field trials, marking a critical phase in its validation process to assess performance parameters such as low RCS target detection range, angular resolution, and tracking accuracy against low RCS targets under operational conditions.
