Looks like plainly wrong information. When did they fire I-Derby ER from LCA ? Am I forgetting something?

Which is quoting pib. Where it says Derby.

Derby testing is not new. We have older stocks of it including from Harriers of navy.

Derby and I-Derby-ER form factor, design and software interface is same only difference is dual pulse motor which increases its range. Hence any fighter plane eg LCA which has been tested for Derby can fire I-Derby-ER without any changes or problems. It's a plug and play with all fighter planes certified for Derby BVR.....

Then PIB would be right, although there's not much in terms of integration since both missiles are the same from the outside.
