Yes, but the aircraft can only do SIGINT. That too at a limited range & endurance. DRDO's SCA is way more capable & has a range/endurance comparable to the older Boeing.

Search and Track System for airborne applications has been developed by IRDE, DRDO. This document brings out the scope of work towards the integration and flight evaluation of the System on British Aerospace BAE 125-800A (Hawker) aircraft.
Services
i. Flight services for system evaluation for British Aerospace BAE 125-800A aircraft (Hawker): 45 hrs
ii. Flight services for system evaluation for target aircraft (L-39 Albatross): 30 hrs
Total delivery period: 45 months from the date of placement of Supply order.
