They are simply screwdriving Israeli radios I doubt they will do any modification in software.
 
The PTC Industries presentation is part presented here in video. This is very importance because its material related & one of major factors in any aerospace & defence project. Given we import a large chunk of materials needed, go through it and you will understand why this sector need further attention from Govt to create a strong base for mfg. The delay we talk about in many projects, many of the times its due to this gap in technology & material output. Any particular material, that is imported, if it were to indigenised it would take anywhere between 5-20 years to just do that, then comes production in suitable quantity. And this is just for a signle grade, there are hundreds such that we import from UK, Germany, USA Russia France etc.


Attached transcript of their first investor meet, where that 84 page presentation was fully explained. Read it & you will get a very good picture. Without knowing the basic capability within the country we can not ponder why our projects often face delay & comes short of expectation.
