Indian Economy : News,Discussions & Updates

In terms of economics, nothing brilliant has happened in the past 5 years. Yet, these sanghi morons fap to every statement or decision by Modi and his dimwits. Waiting to see the mandir, environment, 2 crore jobs/year, 15k in every bank acc, black money, etc. Post the hungama of article 370, waiting for kashmiri pandits and 50000 jobs to return to the valley while all along these ch***** could not create 50000 jobs in whole of india lol!

As a scientist I'm trained to approach a problem by first distilling it to first principles.

Expecting something brilliant to happen under the rule of the enormously unbrilliant collective is what it boils down to.

Cheers, Doc

Now lets wait for India to be a 5 trillion economy by 2025, growing at 5% (modified GDP) lol with the bulk of the momentum from the service industry. More pakoras, more power.

Patience friend ...

We are still some way from cresting this wave.

It's a long way down after that.

And a hard crash, followed by the foam of the smithereens of millions of young dreams of starry eyed worshippers.

Industry and economists have been saying this for over two years now.

The signs have all been there. Within a year of Demonetization.

Staring us in the face.

Telling that not even 370 has muted the chorus now.

As we say in Maharashtra.

Nanga khayega kya, nichodega kya.

You know things are grim when the diehards actually emerge blinking with unfocused eyes from the cocoon of denial into the harsh light of reality.

Pity it's too late though. And we have another 4 years, if not at least 9 of the same.

Anarchy is the new pakoda cottage industry employer of Indian youth.

Lol. It's been 18 months since this slowdown started. Have you been living under a rock all this while?

All those in the know knew this would happen the minute the NBFC crisis started. The primary cause of the slowdown is due to drop in consumption, which reduced because farmer wages have been stagnant the last few years. Even I have pointed this out many times over the last year on this forum, about farmer wages, and I'm no economist. These slowdowns are cyclical, and happens once every 5-10 years.

Haha. I like how all the Congi cheerleaders are coming out of the woodwork for literally nothing. Reminds me of Desert Storm.

Are you a dimwit?

Even if his work is not up to your standards, he's done a 100 times better job than everybody else who has ruled India since independence. Even now, India's macroeconomic figures are the best ever achieved.

Please refer to my posts here from two years ago before I was selectively banned for answering a thug in his own tongue.

No need to bring moderation into the picture. The moderation here is so mild that if you got banned here, then you were the one at fault.

As for the economy, it has nothing to do with either demo or GST. Demo issues were fixed long ago. And GST, we are getting 1LC every month. So both are fine.

This is simply a case of rural demand falling because their incomes have been stagnant. That's why Modi introduced the 6000 per year income distribution to the poor and also a large investment plan to improve rural consumption, alongside a pension scheme and health policy.

India's absolute poverty rate is already 2%.

My advice to everyone would be to let govt. critics speak their piece on economy.
After all they have nothing else to speak about. There has been no major case of corruption, no major scam under Modi till now.
What else are Modi's critics supposed to talk about- re-impsing article 370 ? bringing back triple talaq ??

Let them have their say, no point in arguing with semi-illiterate people on economics and globalization on a defence forum.
Their mind is already made up, you see. They are here for propaganda, not discussion.
