There are MANPADs under development. 2 of them it seems, I am not sure though. I did have some diagrams, I don't remember where I kept them. I will post if I find them. RCI-DRDO is involved with the IR seeker and guidance system, ARDE is making the motor and the airframe. Don't know who is making the launcher.
 
o bhai it is drdo project which was sanctioned in 2013 Russian assistance was taken to develop ramjet engine it is not a joint venture like Brahmos.

SFDR right now is only a demonstrator/technology program, so it's not like Brahmos, but it is headed that way once it becomes a proper military program with ASRs/SQRs. But at the same time, it's called a joint project. If it was merely assistance, then they wouldn't use the term. It's because in a joint project, each side brings their own specialisation into the project. So the Russians brought their ramjet engine while DRDO is contributing something else.

Both Saurav Jha and Shiv Aroor call it a joint project, so that's the status of the program. Even a DRDO scientist called the Russians "partners". No one uses such a term if there was only assistance involved. Let's see if new information comes up in the future that will explain more.

  3. DHURVASTRA - IAF owned NAG missile system for LCH
  4. SANT - IA AVIATION owned missile with active seeker for Lock-on after launch and Lock-on before launch capabilities (NAG is with IR seeker )
  5. MPATGM - IA owned NAG missile for "man-portable" version

No ramjet engine is developed by drdo with Russian assistance.

it is no longer a TD now it has been converted into full fledged programme for developing long range AAM and cruise missile. Russian themselves have tested SFDR based AAM this year.

Not yet. They plan to start a program after SFDR testing is complete. The new missile has to undergo its own design and testing phase. This is a pretty long term program though.

Every ATGM is not directly related to NAG. Its not possible to make a 14 kg missile based on ~50 kg NAG. But, there will be miniaturized common tech.

Of course, it will go through a cycle of development until TRL 7-equivalent. Currently, it's finishing/finished TRL 6-equivalent, which involves ground testing. TRL 7 will see flight demonstration.

SFDR is a technology demonstration program, no different from HSTDV or RLV-TD or LRFJ.

Once the TD program is complete, the application program will begin. And this is when the IAF will create ASR for an AAM. And then the AAM program will begin with its own design stage followed by development testing, certification and induction. For now the TD program will take 3 years to complete. Its induction as a BVR missile will happen sometime in the late 20s or early 30s. Right now, it's not an IAF program.
