Indian Political Discussion

Another media outlet that put out a clarification. They are all free to pick topics for their columns as they desire. However, the timing and the rush to push these out is worrisome. The writer and the media outlet seem to have an affinity for certain issues and narratives.

It's The Hindu. It's filled with commie journalists. China is their holy land. So it's expected.

I understand. It was the rapid nature of these clarifications and puff pieces that was surprising. People were taken aback that they were that attentive towards PR activities.
Reddit is having meltdown over the twitter war as well. Indian users on reddit don't seem to understand why Indian twitter went on an overdrive to post things related to China. Not just articles some tweets started popping up as well on how Chinese were helpful to Indians.

Two very different groups (Reddit and X). I can understand.

Mughal Era Part 2 (aka Modi 2.0)

Wealth of temple is not of the temple but of whole nation which includes muslims and Christians, but no incentives for Pujaris.

Wealth of Mosque/Idgah/Madarsa is wealth of only Muslim Waqf board and not of India, but India will provide them with salary and pilgrimage incentives from tax payer money's (which includes Hindus money too)

You cannot play Hanuman Chalisa around Masjid and during Azan , but Non Veh ships and Muslim shop owners are allowed around Temples. Muslims can use government property and encroach over them in the name of religion. Even when causing discomfort to general public.

Hindu procession in MP (BJP ruled state) cancelled because of objections from Maulvis (it was a once in whole year event) , but Muslims will continue to disrupt everything during Ramzan and secularism will prevail.

Hindus being 2nd rate citizens under a reportedly so called Hindu regime.

The development agenda is failing with Farms law, Land Laws all into gutter. No Sight of Uniform Civil code and Population Control measures visible as of yet.
I will not blame the state government's, 300 seats at center means you got no excuses.

Excuses se yaad aaya AP Dhillon ji ka sanjeet. Akbar 2.0 Zindabaad!

Thats why i don't vote modi.

Recently i visited my nani's home in jharkhand, and returned, but sadly the day was of muharram, and guess what ?? Whole state transportation system was collapsed.

No information was told before, police there were clueless, i asked 3 times to different police in different place. No one knew anything, they all were just guessing.

The gadhava city was barricaded from the morning, i have to walk to cross the whole gadhava city(i always used to travel with bus in that route) for almost 3 km.

I waited from 9:30 to 1 for bus, police there were clueless, they told me that bus will be available outside the city. But even after waiting for 3.5 hours in peak heat, i did not find any bus.

And then the other people told me that, today all private/public bus is suspended, even no private vehical was not allowed where we were waiting.

Then i call home, and my uncle's car came to pick me, but then i had to travel around 1 km more to bypass barricades.

And problem did not finished there, we faced whole road bloacked(2 lane) in 3 different places by muharram maniacs(one was parallel to the NH39 road).

We have to reroute to some 1 lane old road around the usual road, and that took so much time.

That day i faced what is "jungle raj", no SOP, no backup road, no information about the situation, police were clueless.

I was late 4 hours usual than what i take with bus, and the difficulty of waiting for almost 3.5 hours at mid day at scorching heat.

A complete collapse of transportation around and in gadhava district due to muharram.

The "username" feature that Meta was planning to roll out soon, has been put on hold. In a notice to Meta, the government has asked that it furnish a detailed explanation on the "usernames" feature within three days. Until consultation on the matter is over, the feature cannot be rolled out, the government has directed. Sources said officials are examining whether the feature could be exploited by cybercriminals to impersonate government departments, public officials, banks and other trusted institutions. Authorities are also assessing its impact on tracing individuals involved in cybercrime and financial fraud.

They are still sleeping in other areas. An incident from 2007 is being used to malign the country's image in 2026.

Spotted it on multiple aggregator outlets.

The MEA, IB, and MEIT seem to place little emphasis on SM related material. Not surprised that there is still. little discussion around IW countermeasures. The fact remains that it took multiple reports for even basic fact-check accounts to get going. They will need SMEs to formulate policies as most of the official cadre is pretty much not upto the task.

Wait and watch like all other aspects. Disappointing to say the least.

Noticed this as well. Every other IND media outlet was busy running a version of this topic. Most of them did it within a few hours if not a few days of one another.

If run a general trend check, you'll find that some prominent outlets ran multiple such articles.

A detailed breakdown based on degree origin (nations of origin) would be interesting.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on July 7 declared the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2026, with only 4,635 of the 37,448 candidates qualifying the mandatory licensing examination required to practice medicine in India. The overall pass percentage stands at 12.38%, the lowest in the last six FMGE sessions. FMGE is a mandatory licensure examination for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their MBBS degree from foreign medical institutions. Clearing the examination is mandatory to become eligible to practice medicine in India.

This will be a shame.

May Die In 2 Days: Plea In Delhi High Court Seeks Force-Feeding Of Activist Sonam Wangchuk

Activist Sonam Wangchuk will not be able to survive for more than two days if he continues on his indefinite hunger strike, which is now in its 18th day, said a plea filed before the Delhi High Court, seeking an urgent intervention.

The plea said the "state is least concerned and insensitive", and sought directions to force-feed the activist, who is demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.

The Delhi High Court said it will hear the plea tomorrow.

A bench of Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia deferred hearing on the PIL after noting that none appeared for the authorities amid the ongoing work abstention called by the High Court's bar association.

"Nobody is present on behalf of the Union of India. We are entertaining the petition. We will post the matter tomorrow itself and require them to seek instructions. We will ask the registry to file the order to the authorities today itself," the Delhi High Court said.

The petition, filed by lawyer Rakesh Kumar Saini, comes as the 59-year-old activist has lost around 8.5 kg.

"The simple thing to be done is to take him to a government hospital and force feed him the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals by way of a liquid diet which are necessary for the human body to survive," the plea said.

The petitioner argued that "holding a peaceful protest at a public place is a fundamental, democratic right of the citizens".

"If he loses his life in this way, it would be a matter of great shame for the country and the world," the petition said, adding that "the courts would not allow the state to allow a citizen of the country to voluntarily die of hunger in front of its own eye".

The petitioner claimed that the government was treating the activist "like a hardcore criminal, terrorist or traitor to the nation" and was not at all concerned about him.

"That it is highly shocking and condemnable that the Government of India and Government of NCT Delhi do not seem to be concerned at all with this alarming and most unfortunate situation, wherein due to highlighting an important public cause and great concern regarding education and of great concern to the student community in crores," the petitioner said.

The petitioner further argued that "failure on the part of the government would virtually amount to commission for abetment of suicide".

Wangchuk has been on an indefinite hunger strike since June 28 after joining protests organised by the Cockroach Janta Party, which defines itself as a "political front of the youth, by the youth, for the youth".

Modi is creating a disastrous situation!!

Sugarcane is a terribly water intense crop. In India, sugarcane farming takes up 7% of cultivable land but takes up ~77% of irrigable water that goes into farming. Growing sugarcane is disastrous for environment.

On the other hand-

This E20 policy is actually a vote bank tactic at its core. Millions of farmers In India need to be bribed with MSP procurement(which needs to increase year after year). What will you do after procuring the crops??? Modi's solution is to make ethanol out of it even though 1 liter of ethanol requires 3000 liters of water. So, he's creating policies that incentivise sugarcane production to increase.

Combine these 2 phenomenon and you have a recipe for an environmental catastrophe. Also, he's winning elections after elections. Meaning, he thinks these policies are good for him.

Both Congress & BJP have sugar mills & distilleries that use molasses. This is the reason why you don't see any noise on this from these major political parties. You will see them talking about exams, Dharmendra Pradhan, etc but not ethanol as all politicians are involved in these industries.
