This is a historic moment for Indian Private aerospace. Kudos to Skyroot, ISRO and Govt Babus
Getting Vikram-1 to orbit on the first-ever test launch is just above & beyond. Not at all common in this business, especially for a Private company.
Huge achievement for Skyroot!
Congratulations to Skyroot!!! Watched the livestream.
Observations:
1. Immediately after the launch sequence, the rocket tilted a bit too much. I was expecting it to tumble and fall, but that was deliberate. Phew!!!
2. This launch might have been successful but don't take this as proven launch capability to rely on. Stage 3 separation didn't go as planned. After Stage 3 separated, it bumped back into Stage 4. It was pure luck that the payload didn't just tumble down and burn. There are problems here that need to be solved.
3. After launch instead of presenting data, the company owner pulls out the phone & I immediately knew that Modi bhashan bakchodi is gonna start. So fukin cringe. North Korea level of leader worship. Ram Temple ki jagah Modi Temple hi banwa dena ab, kya pata donation theft might reduce

A tremendous achievement for India and its space ecosystem. But still a long way to go for the private launch industry.

I think there was a small hiccup wtr to stage separation which almost derailed the mission but they recovered and put the satellites into orbit.
I just realised that Indian space starups are now surpassing most of the countries in this world w.r.t such complex technologies.. How many countries can successfully manufacture Solid Rocket Boosters??? These have direct implications in military capabilities.
Whenever Indian space industry succeeds, people across the world have meltdowns. I remember when europeans, Pakistanis, turks & chinese were crashing out w.r.t. Chandrayaan-3
