#EndureAir Tandem Rotor Drone looks like a miniature version of Boeing’s CH-47 #Chinook, the twin-rotor #helicopter, the miniature prototype can carry more or less 10kgs of cargo, While crews tell the pilot less chopper where to fly, it uses its own on-board computers, The software is precise enough for the drone to land on uneven terrain. It also means the unmanned aircraft can continue to fly even if an enemy force jams or interrupts the #GPS signal, #IndianArmy, #BSF & #UttarPradeshPolice have shown Interest towards An Team EndureAir #IIT Kanpur-college-project.

The use of small, lightweight unmanned aerial vehicles on the battlefield has surged over recent years. Fitted with advanced sensors and cameras, the UAVs have proved a cost-effective way of providing vital intelligence to troops on the ground. Revolutionary technology could also mean that, for the first time, these tactical UAVs pack a punch with mini precision-guided weapons. #UAV #Drones

Huge next generation cargo drones offered to the US 🇺🇸 #Marine Corps. The 'KARGO UAV' self-deploys beyond 500 nautical miles and carries up to 800 pounds of payload, It's Under evaluation by #USMC.

A company from the #Netherlands had developed a rotary launcher system for dropping mortar rounds from commercial drones, This was originally developed by #Heineken to deliver #beer. Rotary launchers have stations of their own and offer the ability to select certain stores within the bomb bay for release. Advantages include the selection ability for different weapons and easier loading for the ground crew. #drones #uav

India has more drones in prototype stage while other cntries are already into battlefield with some decent junk that can drop from sky on enemies.

By the time this comes online hypersonic weapons would be common. Then we'd see extensive testing for mating those systems lasting yrs.

As things stand, this seems to be an 8-10 yrs program. To think the same ADE is tasked with developing Ghatak & FUFA unmanned drones. Their R&D order book seems good enough to last a decade if done professionally. Ofc this being ADE they'd make it last 2 decades at least.

Another reminder to all those who think they're in the wrong profession & suffering for it. Join ADE & benefit from it. After all everyone there is doing so.
