Arab GCC lost its depth in Afghanistan when the Saudis ditched the Pakistanis due to Yemen. Afghanistan is now a qatar-turkey-pakistan show. The Taliban just see iran as kafir Shias. So it will be good if we exploit iranian paranoia against the Pakistanis and Taliban.
And if the claim of Gen.Bakshi is true of turkish and Chinese mil trainers in jihadi camps we can see a lot of changes. The Turks are one of the best mil's in Europe. They are Nato-trained. So the terrorist and jihadis entering kashmir this time will be a different breed..

TTP was used to crush Sirkhas or what they call “Nationalist Pakhtuns” or “PTM type” on this side of Durand line. Even its current spokesman was freed by Pak army last year in exchange of toying army’s line.

What difference that makes? The army sitting on land for 70 years will always have upper hand than intruders. It's not like we lack surveillance and other hi-tech gear on LoC. Unless jihadis have covering fire, most of them are likely to die on LoC.
Was listening to Gen katoch, he simply asked what has changed? Did Paxtan lack jihadis or trainers or equipments to intrude LoC before Taliban? No. He also predicted that Taliban can impact Muslims in mainland India through ideological persuasion than guns.

They have NVG's in the thousands. Already it's going in discussions in upper echelons that the Taliban and the Pakistani jihadis will be far more equipped in night fighting than us. With night fighting capabilities they can bypass surveillance far more easily than earlier. Also they will be equipped with m4 and m249 and the m24 sniper rifles and other American weaponry which is known to be quite accurate against our Ak's. Even though the 5.56 is a trash round. Let's not forget about one of those TRF sniper who had an M4 and was sniping a bunch of security troops. Now imagine 20-30 of them doing that along with thermal scopes. On top of that they will have BPJ's so 7.62x39 might not even kill regular jihadis. We need to mass upgrade the RR and CRPF trooper otherwise we will have an embarrassment in the future. Though all this will take atleast 3-6 months for the Pakistanis to execute and to send the new talib trained/equipped jihadis. And with nato style training it will be quite difficult to tackle for our average CAPF soldier..

Now even a 10000 of rifles and 100 NVG systems given to the jihadis will put a lot of complications.Along with other explosive hardware will take the insurgency to next levels it won't be easy. The insurgency "might" turn into PKK or Chechen tier CI war which we are not prepared for.
To counter this we will need more drone surveillance and better armoured vehicles and better overall surveillance. Heck we might now need armed drones too..

This stuff is for special forces doing hit and run ops, not to breach walls of loc. Once they try to intrude and kill our soldiers, all bets are off and higher caliber will open up. No amount of snipers and armour can withstand ATGMs , mortars, artillery and MBRLs, if used. They have same advantages during fog but we now sport heat seekers and IR cameras along infiltration route.
They have to come in numbers to do something big, like kargil otherwise it's business as usual, one or two big terror strikes, hundreds of failed attempts and that won't cause a dent to India, speaking in geostratigic terms. Tactics evolve eventually, on both sides.

Probably 99% India will not host US forces, may be US can station a carrier in Indian ocean & fly drones from there. After the US cut & run operation in afghanistan most countries will think twice on hosting or taking support from US.
And how exactly Handing over of a country to a terrorist regeimen(Haqqani Network) propped up by China and its stooge will help them to achieve that ?
If anything it will make China more fearless as they now have complete access to Afghanistan via its proxy Pakistan and can simply buy out or eliminate any resistance like they did in Panjshir valley.
