Unlike in KHANgress led India where poorest were able to go to a Haj using taxpayers money, There's no Haj Subsidy in Pakistan. So only the cream of the cream rich and elite upper middle class afford a Haj in Pakistan who can easily afford to get vaccinated and get certificate. Only the poor will suffer..

Comes naturally with territory of being the largest surrender since WW2...because of invented-name and invented-reality complex.

They truly do wonder why they can save barely 70 dollars a person in a year....its all that time spent being in psychological strife with their existence.

So the begging bowl is fully ingrained pavlovian reaction now. No 2nd thought it given to it.

Just sit back and watch how bad it gets for this lot. They have utterly no real trust left in their own country....fake invented name and everything.

Honestly no idea. Could be tomorrow, could be years from now....DC is very strange place once one assumes main-threat status there.

Russia offers a more sweet-spot punching bag in comparison (it has far fewer options in retaliating being dependent on energy exports and little else)....and largely because of the overt actions on Ukraine.

US has started some sanctions on specific CCP folks ala magnitsky act....but taking on whole CCP establishment with CAATSA kind of stuff is several tiers more than that (and would include Xi himself, something US wants to keep flexbile for now)...so we have to see....probably wait for how things go post-covid crisis IMO.

But it can change if Russia means any business on Ukraine again right now (and if China uses/times that as some kind of cover to do something on Taiwan etc).

US -- China economic Relationship is totally different from US Russia Economic ties , which are practically nil

US China DE Coupling is Not possible
Inspite of all abuses and threats flying around

So how can CAATSA be applied on other countries for buying things from China

A lot of bankrupted and poor countries have Su27/30/35 in their kittys. Not surprising if Pakistan also want to have few of them. What’s the fuss is all about.
Russia’s interest is clearly in China camp and Pakistan and NoKo are like illegitimate child’s to China.

We are talking military ticket items only (w.r.t CAATSA kind of sanction).

Larger economic one is not followed by even US itself (it trades many things with Russia to this day and US is also of course the largest reason behind Chinese industrial transfer, advance and capacity over last three decades especially).

Heck Germany was classsic case in point on this in recent years....., in complaining about US-NATO reform (w.r.t Russia) but buying oodles of gas (and wanting even more via nordstream 2) from same Russia. Like where does Germany expect all that cash gonna go in the end? Everything else but the "security threat"?

A Chinese oriented CAATSA whatever it turns out like if it does, would basically start hewing the world into two security camps more broadly....in where the prime MICs and secondary MICs (of each one) can cooperate and acquire etc.... but no ones going to attempt to expand that to a larger economic paradigm (like say US can do with Iran to large degree right now) anytime soon.

Doing something real on the ground is another

What IF , Russia ,China and Iran open multiple fronts at the same time

Russia invades Ukraine , China invades Taiwan and Iran starts firing missiles at GCC countries

Heck , even NoKO would join the party

Wish this comes true...
We will have all the reasons and a golden opportunity to invade PoK. With China involved in Taiwan and US breathing fire on it India will have a free hand to take over POK and gilgit baltistan as Pak Daddy China won't be able to open India front and if they do so will lose badly...
Apart from that even US won't be able to intervene as they will already be involved in 3 fronts Iran, Ukraine, Taiwan. Actually they will need India reign in China and so will ignore India's PoK invasion...
I say come on let the party begin...
