Article 35A is sub judice. There's no saying when the verdict would come. In all probability, I think Modi will declare Article 370 null & void on Independence Day. Of course, this will open up a Pandora's box.

The troops were needed immediately and are being airlifted. This means the cause/threat is within 48-72 hours. Not 15th August.

Yeh darr accha hain. The timing is impeccable too. Pakistan's focus is not to get on the FATF blacklist & to deliver the Taliban. The fallout within the valley will take about a year to subside. That's the amount of time Pakistan will be quiet for. Of course, Pakistan being Pakistan can always react earlier or instantaneously too.
