Wtf they completed the design and development of 10,000 lbf engine within 2 yrs that too without any prior experience. Same thing with their turboshaft engine also it too completed all the design and development within 2 yrs . Some thing is really fishy.

So more like HTFE-25. The R&D phase would have started earlier. They are part of the global supply chain for GE engines. Even licence-producing F110. This is not such a giant leap.

KF-21 succeeded in its maiden flight for 30 minutes at 15:30 pm on the 19th about an hour ago. The maiden flight was conducted with four mock-up Meteor missiles mounted on the outside. As a Korean, today is a very happy day.
